Contribute to our Scholarship Fund!

 

Do you love the work we do in the community, but you or your kids grew out of our store? (Or perhaps they temporarily think they're too cool...) Or you just don't need more stuff in your life or house right now? Or you moved away and have another great local shop where you live?

Well, here's a way to support us AND do good in the community: help us fund scholarships for families who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford our programs!

We have a thriving after-school program that hosts enrichment classes in elementary schools and a growing set of summer camps hosted here at the shop, and every session we sponsor scholarships for students who otherwise wouldn't be able to participate with their friends.

Here's what your donation buys:

$25 - One 90-minute after school session for a student on scholarship
$125 - Half Scholarship for a week-long Summer Camp or 9-week after-school program
$250 - Full Scholarship for a week-long Summer Camp or 9-week after-school program

These programs mean so much to the families we serve: the students improve reading, math, critical thinking, problem solving, cooperation, respect, and other social skills to name a few. Many also make friends and get to thrive in a mixed-age group of "their people" -- where their passion and excitement for play are valued and reciprocated by their instructors and peers.
